Tianma Micro-electronics Co., Ltd. was awarded “Shenzhen Energy-Saving and Emission-Reducing Enterprise 2016” award for the use of MULTISTACK’s highly energy-efficient magnetic levitation oil-free chiller. Tianma was one of the second bunch of companies who receive special funds from Shenzhen Government to support recycling economy, energy savings and emission reduction. Among the 57 programs supported by the Government, Tianma was the only company that got awarded for its application of magnetic levitation technology. It was undoubtedly a high praise for MULTISTACK oil-free chiller.

Tianma Micro-electronics Co., Ltd. (Tianma) is a large listed company specializing in R&D, designing, manufacturing and selling LCDs and LCMs. TIanma also provides efficient supporting services worldwide. In respond to the policy of energy saving and emission reduction, Tianma carried out energy-saving retrofit in 2014, replacing one of the three centrifugal chillers (600RT each) with a MULTISTACK 600RT oil-free chiller. All these chillers were required to run for 24 hours through the years. After the replacement, power consumptions were saved by 42% compared to last year.

In order to alleviate the imbalance conflict between the energy supply and demand, maintain stable and fast economy development, accelerate economic restructuring, drive industrial technology, and to improve environment quality, China Government rolled out policies in recent years to encourage energy saving and emission reduction. In response, more and more heavy energy users upgraded and retrofitted their chillers. Some research indicated that if the oil-free chillers could replace all traditional chillers, CO2 emissions would reduce by 150 million tons annually and save electric power by 150 billion KW•h.
